The Scots Turf Show Continues to Build Momentum in Its Third Year

International Greenkeepers For Hire recently attended The Scots Turf Show, held on 4th March 2026 at Hamilton Park near Glasgow, with Brad representing IGFH. Now in its third year, the show continues to build momentum within the turf and grounds sector, attracting a strong turnout of exhibitors and visitors from across Scotland and beyond. Here’s Brad’s overview of the experience:

“This was the first time I’ve been able to attend The Scots Turf Show in person, and I was impressed by the scale of the event and the progress it has already made in a relatively short period of time.

There was a wide range of exhibitors and educational sessions, as well as live equipment demonstrations, with dedicated indoor areas hosting seminars and presentations, along with several demonstration areas outside. The exhibition spaces were busy; there were two indoor zones filled with trade stands representing a broad cross-section of the industry.

As is always the case with these events, I have plenty of opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces in the industry, including contacts from SIS Pitches, DSV Seeds, DLF Seeds, Quadrop, KAR UK, and TLS Lighting Rigs—too many to name! The show floor was active throughout the day.

The Scots Turf Show is incredibly important for professionals working in Scotland. Many of our major industry events take place further south in the UK, which can make it difficult for turf professionals in the north of the UK to attend. Holding a comparable event in Scotland gives locals the opportunity to experience the benefits of networking and education on this scale without extensive travel.

Turnout was strong, and there was plenty of positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors that highlighted just how much the show has grown since it first launched three years ago.

Events like these support the IGFH’s mission to connect with the wider turf community and help all professionals stay engaged with developments across the sector.

With its wide range of exhibitors and solid educational programme, The Scots Turf Show is quickly establishing itself as an important date in the turf industry calendar for Scotland and the wider UK. I’m planning to return next year and see the show continue to grow.”
