There are many seaweed based products on the market in Australia but very few have any relevant trial data. But there is now one product available, used by the 2011 Audubon winner – Crystal Springs GC, as well as St Andrews Golf Club, The Belfry and Pebble beach to name a few. It has a heap of relevant trial data proving its efficacy, though the fact that it is used by such icons of the golf course industry, known globally for their high degree of presentation, pretty much sells the product itself.

We all know the reported benefits of seaweed, but there is very little relevant research to prove them. Factors such as the type of seaweed and the actual manufacturing process are rarely considered in a purchase decision. After all, seaweed is seaweed, right? Well – not really.

A unique source of seaweed known as Ascophyllum nodosum, coupled with a unique manufacturing process can enable the prduction of liquid seaweed concentrate that offers an easy-use formulation, which has been proven to counter nematode activity, improve disease resistance and maintain a healthier plant. Ascophyllum nodosum is considered the ultimate pre-stress conditioner. The proof is in the extensive research that has been specifically carried out on the company’s product.
